                                  HEALING OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT


For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate. Psalm 143:3-4.

         The human spirit is designed to connect to its truth and necessary wisdom.
Bring my soul out of prison, that i may praise thy name; the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shall deal bountifully with me. Psalm 142:7.

         If there is one department of the life of man that is under severe attack, it is the human spirit.
     The spirit is the candle of the Lord and the light of life.  If your spirit is sick then your entire life is under captivity.
        The devil is subtle. He knows that to capture man he has to capture the spirit, as an imprisoned spirit will remain in bondage, that is why when the wicked people of the dark world want to afflict or destroy anybody, they summon the inner spirit which is the human spirit of that victim and issue the destructive judgement into that life. 
  • The human spirit can be arrested
  • The human spirit can be caged
  • The human spirit can be tied down
  • The human spirit can be afflicted
  • The human spirit can be used for slave trade
  • The human spirit can be tormented
         Many people's spirits are sick to the point of death.  We need the fire of Holy Ghost to wake up dead spirits, liberate spirits that are held under captivity and to set free from emotional hurts.
No wonder the bible says in the book of  Isaiah 61-1 "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound".

         The human spirit was created perfect but sin came and damaged the man's spirit. Human understanding became impaired. 
         Consequently the spirit became troubled, agitated, hurt and broken. Many believe that when someone is born again the spirit is completely free and there is no need for healing.  Scripture and experience have proved this to be untrue. After salvation, there are aspects of the spirit that need deep healing.

                                                   DISEASES OF HUMAN SPIRIT

  1. Impaired understanding (2 Peter 1:9). (Heb. 5:11)
  2. Spiritual blindness (2Cor. 4:3-4, 1Cor. 1:18, 2Timo. 3:7)
  3. A troubled spirit (Gen. 41:8, Dan. 2:1, John 13:21, Dan. 7:15, Lame.1:20,2:1)
  4. Spiritual deafness (Ps.38:13-18, Heb.3:15, 5:1-2)
  5. A fainting spirit (Ps. 142:3, 143:4, Isa.61:3)
  6. A grieved (hurt) spirit (Isa.54:6, Prov.12:18, 18:21, Jere.9:8)
  7. A fearful or timid spirit (2Timo.1:7, Job 4:13-15)
  8. A broken spirit (Prov.18:14, Job 17:1, Prov.15:13)

                                                            SOLUTION
  • Surrender yourself with genuine repentance to your creator and become is friend.
  • Confess your sin to Him and ask for forgiveness.
  • You need to make some spiritual enquiry about your birth and your purpose in life.
  • Pray secret revealing prayers about yourself.
  • Be sincere and truthful to yourself and deal with your weaknesses  
  • Strong determination to be totally set free at all cost
  • Engage in spiritual warfare
                                                                Prayer Points
  1. O God arise and show me your great mercy, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Every agenda of the wicked to cage my inner spirit, scatter in Jesus name.
  3. Any power that has been waging war against my existence, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
  4. O God arise and disgrace every enemy of my soul, in the name of Jesus.
  5. You my inner spirit receive total deliverance in the name of Jesus.
  6. Every arrow of darkness fired against my destiny, back fire in Jesus name.
  7. Wherever my destiny has been caged, oh God arise and bring me out by fire, in Jesus name.
  8. Every satanic instrument assigned to torment my spirit, catch fire and burn to ashes, in Jesus name.
  9. Blood of Jesus purify my spirit, soul and body, in the name of Jesus.
  10. Holy Ghost fire baptize my spirit man, in the name of Jesus.
